Posing is a fundamental part of portrait photography. You might have the fancy equipment, the lighting knowledge, the wardrobe etc, but if your subject’s pose is off, the whole train is off. Learning to pose your subjects to best flatter them and understanding common posing mistakes to avoid is key to a successful photo shoot.

First we’ll cover the fundamentals such as posing perspective and how the camera sees, best lenses to use and camera angle.
